Middle of Nowhere.

So I'm sure Wales is very nice.
Yes it's very pretty and the accents are very interesting and make me feel like I'm an episode of Gavin and Stacey.
I just feel like I'm back into the days when mobile phones didn't exist. I have NO signal whatsoever. I feel completely out of touch with the outside world!
When I arrived yesterday I was thinking yes! I can let my friends know I'm safely here. Ummm no. No signal. Not even if I put my phone on top of the wardrobe (usual trick works at home). Nope. Nadda. Nothing. So you know my friends should be thinking I've dropped off the side of the earth now as I'm not texting back (yeah realised I'm not quite that popular...)
So then start panicking A WEEK WITHOUT MY PHONE. Then think how shallow? That's not the right word... Spoilt? Of me. But you haven't been on holiday with my parents. It's a strain. No offence to my parents I love them lots, but really... it takes a saint to holiday with them without other company. I mean the arguing starts pretty much as soon as the car leaves the driveway. So without my sister, or my phone to even contact my sister and have lengthy moans about the petty arguments going on, it's dire.
On top of that I didn't have the internet yesterday so it was like being in a hole. A big hole where there is nothing. Today I have internet until 9 o'clock (okay so it's five past - bet this crashes on me) and we walked up massive hills and when I got right to the top - by the cliffs edge - I got a couple of bars of signal. I made the most of this of course.

So anyway today to make this holiday so much better I thought to myself ahhh sun and we're going to walk by the sea today so I'll be bright and wear my new summer dress with denim shirt, and try my new lipstick with it. I then walk out my room for my mother to say "That lipstick's a bit bright for a small place like this"
There's lipstick that's too bright for a place?!? Since when?!?
I wore it anyway. I wore it trolling through fields, being chased by cows and listening to my parents ooing and aaahhing over birds and flowers every five minutes. And I'm pleased I wore it. Even if the welsh walkers looked at me funny. It made my day feel sunnier!
Then my day was brought down a notch when the path turned really muddy and my Henry Holland boots got covered in mud. Yes I cried a little. I love those boots, they haven't left my side since I bought them. I take them home every time I come home and I took them to Paris... And now they are covered in mud. Boo.

I would quite like to be here right now - Switzerland.

and finally...

Aaron Johnson is just so yum!

I would definitely advise going to see Kick Ass. Especially if you like supporting english films, or you like comic book style films, or you love Aaron Johnson. It's just GOOD.

xo
